This is how I feel about the book New Moon.
Beware if you haven't read it there are some spoilers...
1st of all, the beginning of New Moon is great. I like how Stephenie portrays that the energy between Edward and Bella is good at the start.
They are watching Romeo and Juliet together, which is one of my very fave chapters in the entire series.
BOOM! Then he leaves her! I cried the first time I read it, and the second time I read it, I laughed.
( BTW: If you have not read the Twilight series more than once, you definitely should.)
Then she is so whiny!
It is ridiculous that she has to hold her chest together to keep the gaping hole that is Edward's absence from tearing her apart. Girl, he has only been your boyfriend for a few months, GET OVER IT!
Now this is where Jacob steps in. I want you all to know that I am on Team Jacob. The first time I read the series, I hated Jacob. But then the second time I read them, I found myself loving Jacob, and HUZZAH!, I am now on team Jacob.
Jacob did a great job in trying to cheer her up and she just USED HIM!
If I had Jacob.... well, let's just say I'd do somethings differently.
Then, she succumbs and does what everyone wants her to do, and throws herself off of a cliff. YAH!!!
Then she is saved, goes to Italy, saves her honey, no comment...
Now everything is normal, and Charlie is barely even MAD!
If I ever did that, my body would be whipped to shreds in a matter of seconds.
Then she comes back and doesn't even care about Jacob.
That is my New Moon opinion.
I hope to post an ECLIPSE post soon.
